Floral Meet Chambray

Do you know what I love about spring? When all of the magazines say "florals are hot this spring!" I like to pretend like this is news because then when I buy new floral pieces or wear my old floral pieces it's like I'm not only on-trend but I've been forecasting this trend for years. It's also fun to say to people in the shop that florals are "so in" this spring and watch them nod at my wisdom and expertise.

Do you know what else is hot this spring? This old chambray shirt I've had for years. How could I have possibly known in 2010 when I purchased this top that three years later chambray shirts would be everything? My wisdom and expertise. I'm going to make a prediction -- florals are going to be hot next spring, too. And chambray is the new chambray. What would you do without me?

You reminded me of The Devil Wears Prada when she says, "Florals, for Spring?  Groundbreaking."  I personally can't wait to start wearing some florals! :)
