I mean the title says it all — I went into Old Navy to shop with my daughter and ended up walking out with my own bags and a brand new jacket. (Don’t worry, G got some things too!) I wanted to share with you these finds because I feel like when I find something from Old Navy that’s worth it, I can’t gate keep.
Barrel Jeans under $50
I can’t stop thinking about these jeans, ever since I left them in the store last week. They’re a great fit, even if they are mid-rise. (I have a low chance of fit when it’s anything other than high rise.) I’m in the 10, true to size fit, most fitted in the waist, mid-rise but comfortable. The denim does have some stretch to it, but it feels more like a rigid denim. I love the dark denim rinse as well, especially going into fall! If you like the barrel jeans look, this is a really nice pair under $50.
100% Cotton Button Down
I love this button down and it’s a keeper! (And it’s under $30 right now with the extra 10% off promo.) It runs true to size, but in an oversized, boyfriend type of fit. I’m in the medium and it’s nice and relaxed, while fitting perfectly at the shoulders. It’s 100% cotton but a really soft feel, lightweight too. This top is a really nice and reliable basic for fall and beyond!

100% Cotton Swing Top
I am such a sucker for a white top and this one is spot on. It’s a bit of a loose fit, overall. I’m in the large but it’s a boxy, airy look, so you can stay with your typical size. The top is 100% lightweight cotton, slightly sheer but ok with nude bra. It’s a nice, neutral top for under $30!
PS: these jeans are Madewell! I’m in the 30, fit is TTS with a more fitted waist.
Belted Anorak Jacket
Am I jumping the gun a bit on a jacket for fall? I am but that’s okay. Dress for the season you want, right? This a great jacket in general, in fact, I’m a bit shocked it’s from Old Navy! It’s a nice quality, thicker fabric with some stretch and structure. The fit is relaxed, maybe even slightly oversized because I’m in the medium here. I’ts a mid-weight, great for fall / early winter for us Texans.
It’s a different hue than shown online and I prefer this color anyways. It’s a more fatigued army green, not as bright green as shown online. (Why do they do that?! by the way…) If you want a looser fit like on the model, go up a size otherwise it’s TTS.
