I fear I’ve reached the point of losing the plot this summer. This happens when the short days of summer and my shortened attention span are mixed with the higher temperatures; strange things start happening. Like mixing a delicate eyelet top with a more sportier pair of shorts kind of strange. Maybe unexpected is the word, not so much strange. It could be the heat getting to me, but I like this combo. Somehow it just works.

I found these shorts on Amazon after going down some rabbit hole that I can’t seem to remember the origin of. These shorts are a quirky pair, they’re linen blend with an athletic cut. They’re a nice slinky fabric with a drawstring waist, giving a mix between a nice short and a casual one. The trim on the shorts make them feel more athletic than just a normal pair of shorts, kind of like those Adidas ones I’ve not been brave enough to try yet. (Oh I just found some at Old Navy, too!) In the same vein, anyways.

All that to say, do I think I’ll find the plot soon? Hard to say but I do know I am ready for a seasonal change. The countdown till cooler weather begins now.
