Would you believe we shot these in NYC and I forgot to post them? Well it’s true. Forgetting to post content? Doesn’t sound like me at all…

I meant to wear this top with those Madewell shorts I love so much but instead I ended up swapping that outfit for a tee. Which means my suitcase was left with this combo right here. But you know what? I packed in such a way that most things worked with each other. (Very capsule of me if I do say so myself.) I ended up loving this outfit for so many reasons but one was that the shorts and the top just flowed together well. They both ‘puffed’ out a bit like an a-line and I loved that shape together. 10/10 will wear this combination again.

I rented this top from Nuuly for the NYC trip and fell in love with it. It’s everything I love in a top and it’s a really nice quality of cotton. Not too lightweight, but perfect for summer. Just light enough that it’s not sheer at all. I’m in the large and it runs a bit loose / big overall. Comes in right under $100, too! Find it from Anthro here. 

These shorts are some of my faves from Quince last year…but for whatever reason they didn’t bring them back this year. Which is blasphemy in my book, but noooo one asked me. The GOOD news is I have found an almost identical pair from Uniqlo. Still cotton, still an elastic waist. A collective sigh of relief was heard. (I’ve not tried them but if I know me, I’d go with a large.)
