I loved the vibe when I saw this dress online but when I first got it in…it felt…lackluster. As things from Zara tend do sometimes. I shouldn’t single out Zara — many things can feel dull offline. But once I realized this dress just needed some bright accessories, it came alive.

What I love about this dress is that it’s really easy to wear, by that I mean there are these teeny tiny pleats that float out under the bust and the dress becomes a no-cling zone. I can wear it without feeling self conscious about my waist. (oh and I love the puff sleeves as well.) Now this day was hella windy so you aren’t seeing ‘cling’ in my dress above you are seeing 25 mph winds blowing at me and me doing my best to keep it together. If there is one thing I hate more than bad lighting, it’s wind. Although I will say it made for a dramatic first photo up there.

I am in the large of the dress, I personally think it runs TTS with a relaxed fit.

Zara Flowy Pleated Midi Dress

Madewell gifted me this slightly ridiculous little bag and I love her. She comes in a normal square shape but there is a magnet that clasps the two sides together like a little sculptural dumpling. How adorable is that? Can I fit much in here? No! Does that bother me? No! Sometimes a purse is for carrying purposes only, other times it’s for the vibes. This is a vibes purse ok? She’s a real personality hire and you have to respect it. She’s not going to do any work, but will create great conversation.
