With summer coming up, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite ‘basic’ pieces from Quince. These are pieces that you can build lots of outfits on, which is why I consider them basics or essentials. Add in something easy like a tee or a tank and you’ve got an easy, go-to summer look. Since these are from Quince, most are under $100, if not under $50.
Smocked Eyelet Dress
This is one of my favorite dresses from last summer! I’m in the large and it’s a looser fit but I’d say true to size. The smocking is very forgiving which is nice. This is one of my more flattering dresses too, I always feel comfortable in it.
Side note they brought it back in a light yellow this year, it’s not eyelet but it’s the same shape / silhouette!
100% Washable Silk Mini Skirt
I’ve had this little silk skirt for a few years now and weirdly enough I don’t bust it out for summer. But I am this year! It’s so classic with a simple tee or tank. It’s under $50 too! I’m in the large, great fit for me.
PS: my tee is from Spanx! It’s a basic white tee, fit is TTS but I went up a size for a looser fit. I’m in the large.

100% Organic Cotton Poplin Pintuck Maxi Skirt
Love this maxi poplin for summer! It’s hard to see but there is a slim waist band and the bottom of the skirt has a touch of eyelet, too. The back of the waistband is smoked for wiggle room. Fit is generous, I’m in the medium and it’s plenty loose. comes in a few colors too!

100% European Linen Strapless Dress
This 100% linen dress is beautiful for summer. It does run big!! this runs big especially in the top which is a big surprise. I’m fine in the large but it’s loose, so if you don’t have big ones go down a size. Would be gorgeous in vacation or a summer wedding!
Luna Stretch Wide Leg Jeans + Linen Strapless Top
Thought I’d carry on the strapless trend here…this linen tube top is such a fun top for summer. I didn’t wear it too much last summer but I’m feeling it for 2026. I’m in the large, true to size slightly short in the torso.
These are hands down my favorite Quince jeans! It’s the Luna Wide Leg and they’re a soft but structured, stretchy denim. I’m in the 30, perfect fit!

100% Organic Cotton Gauze Tiered Maxi Dress
This is the gauzy cotton maxi dress and it’s a really nice weigh for summer! It’s not as light as I was expecting, so it’s not sheer, it’s quite a substantial cotton but it’s lightweight for summer. It does run generously, this is the large and it’s a pretty loose fit, especially in the under arms. So keep that in mind, you may want to go down a size. I’d also suggest this dress in black too! Easy go to for vacation, can easily double for a cover up too.
Cotton Cashmere Relaxed Sweater Tee + 100% European Linen High Waisted Shorts
Both of these pieces are under $50! This is the cotton cashmere tee and it’s a really nice weight for summer. It’s lightweight and slightly sheer. I’m in the large for a looser fit.
This is their high waisted linen shorts, I’m in the medium. Fit is true to size, and this pair is definitely high waisted and a bit longer overall. If you don’t like the high rise, they have a regular rise as well. Quince linen washes out well and keeps! This pair is from last summer.

I know I’ve shown this dress a few times but here it is again 😉 I’m in the large but it does run quite big! I like the length and that it doesn’t cling to me. Underneath there is a skort liner! I love this feature, makes a lot of sense for summer toss and go moments.
