Happy Friday! This week went by pretty quickly for us, as holiday weeks usually do. We had planned to go on our little Hill Country end of the school year trip this week but with the rain we postponed till next. But we still hit up the pool many times this week, so swimsuits ahead! Let’s get to the outfits 🙂

Friday | Last Day of School!

We had early release on Friday and unfortunately our first day home was rainy! We had plans for the pool but got rained out. (Don’t worry we made up for it over the weekend!) I was gifted this pair of pants from a new to me brand named Outerknown. I love them so, they’re a thicker cotton with an elastic waist band and they’re a nice silhouette. Long enough, but not too long. They work well with a tee, a tank, a button down. I will be wearing them all summer long. I’m in the large, but overall the brand runs generously. Highly recommend!

Saturday | Errands + Pool Day

This is a very ‘Kendi’ outfit to me. A white top + denim shorts has been getting me through summers for years. This pair of Agolde are rented (nuuly) but I really like them! This May didn’t get too much use out of them, but I put them to work this week for sure. Also I just received this pair of sandals from Steven Madden and I love them. I typically end up having a hyper fixation shoe in the summer and I think it may be these. They’re comfortable and go with just about everything!

Sunday | Patio with friends

This skirt is also from that brand I mentioned earlier, Outerknown! Each piece I got are very travel friendly, you can pack them and they won’t be too wrinkly, etc. This skirt is the large, but it runs big! I love easy outfits like this in the summer, this outfit will be on repeat for sure.

Monday | Pool Day

We made it to the pool on Monday! I LOVE this swimsuit from Spanx. Albeit pricey, the benefits are there. This swimsuit has compression all over and it’s super comfortable. I will say I wish there was a bit more room for my boobs, because they slowly migrated south but I can confidently say there were no nip slips at the pool that day. Super cute swimsuit! (I’m in the large, it’s very fitted.) (Also I did wear a cover up. Just forgot to selfie it.)

Tuesday | Lunch with B

G and I decided to meet Bryan for lunch on our first official summer break day! We are trying to slowly launch into summer anyways, and then we ended up at Costco. Yes I was the nicest dressed person there, lol.

Wednesday | WFH

I didn’t mean to wear all of the gifted Outerknown things in one week but I ended up like all the pieces so much. This dress is listed as a cover up but it is such nice quality, I ended up wearing it as a dress. It’s a thicker cotton with structure, so it holds its shape well. I’m in the large, it’s a generous fit but I like that it’s not clingy at my waist. Also wearing maxi dresses in the summer feels like cheating.

Thursday | Pool day

I love this Quince swimsuit from last year (it’s no longer available in white but it’s in lots of other options. To be honest, white is a CHOICE.) I am in the large, it runs generously but I like the length for me.
