August is all about transitions. The last days of summer, back to school for the littles and/or the last minute vacations that try to sneak in this month. I know it’s still summer but it August feels like the bridge from summer to fall. When in reality that’s probably September’s job. So this month I’ve really tried to focus on transitioning my summer wardrobe into fall with me. I love this vest from this month’s capsule and I paired it with these linen shorts. Classic high waist shorts are always a good thing to have around. I like this pair because they fit well and they are comfortable, lightweight for the still very hot days. Later I can take this outfit and layer a blouse underneath or swap the shorts for pants. Lots of options with these here pieces.
