I think I should probably retire the phrase ‘this is my new favorite _______’ because I simply use it too much. Overuse doesn’t make it untrue, however, I mean it when I say it. It’s just that I have a lot of new favorites. I haven’t searched my site for that exact phrase but I’d be willing to bet a lot of blog posts show up within those search results. Before I send that overused phrase to an (over-due) retirement, I’m going to give it one more chance to shine. Ya’ll — this might be my new favorite dress. It has everything I like in a dress: long sleeves (check) / short skirt (check) / fun print (check). It checks all of my favorite boxes and it’s new, so I think it’s my new favorite dress. That’s fair right?
Anyways, this dress is from Madewell and it’s kinda one of those dresses that has no idea what season it is. Is it spring? No. Is it winter? Not where I live. So it’s perfect for this time of year because it’s quite season-less. I hate winter anyways so I’m cool to just barely experience it. I guess I made it a little wintery with the tall boots and if you are in a colder region than I, black tights and booties would be darling with this, too. You could also layer this under a moto jacket (like this outfit here) and it would be super cute. All that to say, lots of options and it goes right into spring with you. Find it from Madewell here!
