Easy Day Dress

All I can say is WOW you guys! I am just now coming up for air from all of the orders from our first day at Everyday & Co! (If you ordered something, your order is on it’s way to you now!) You guys loved so many of our pieces that are sold out and I am SO SO excited to keep bringing you these styles at approachable prices! We are working on restocking a lot of the pieces, so give us a little time and we will get these pieces to you! And yes! We are bringing in plus sizes as well as soon as they get to us. I am seriously overwhelmed with the response so THANK YOU! Shopgirl is back and she is feeling good. I can’t wait to share with you what we’ve got planned for fall!

Since we were so busy fulfilling orders, I’ve been in t-shirts (this one here!) and shorts or yoga pants all week until today. But today I was finally able to wash and curl my hair and then put makeup on this morning and boy did that feel good. I felt like a new woman today and decided to throw on my favorite easy dress. This was one of my favorite dresses from our launch collection (and luckily there are still a few left!). It’s lightweight, has pockets and fits like a dream. I’m in the medium here. This one fits true to size but is a relaxed fit. I 100% envisioned this dress with a denim jacket and when I put this on this morning, I was so glad the vision in my head worked with this dress. I mean how could it not? An easy dress + sneakers + a denim jacket is one of my favorite go-to’s.

If you see the little stains on my dress, they are from the bagel I shared with morning with Gemma. I’d love to be able to blame the stain on my child but yet again, I am messier than a 1-year-old. This stain is all me. But you know what? One of my missions with Everyday & Co is to help you embrace your every day and that movement starts with me. So here is my every day, stains and all. 😉

Editor's Notes:

The dress fits true to size! It’s fitted in the arms and a bit more in the chest but is loose everywhere else. I am in the medium. This jacket is old AG but I’ve linked a similar!

  7. I’m the master of removing stains, especially dark ones. I learned from my efficiency engineer best friend: use a pot of BOILING HOT water, seriously get it to a rolling boil. Put your garment in the bathroom sink with the stain easily visible. Pour that boiling water right on the stain. Usually the stain lifts right off. If the stain is still there, boil another pot of water and pour it on the stain again. Let your garment cool a bit and then rub diswashing detergent together with a stain remover product such as Shout. Rub it out with a washcloth. I have saved so many clothes this way!

I hope this will help you. I love the dress!
