We took a quick trip this weekend to Austin but didn’t have time to catch too many photos. But when I saw this greenery, I knew instantly we HAD to shoot there. Just look at that light — it’s a dream wall for a blogger. Luckily I was already wearing my favorite off the shoulder dress from LOFT (I did switch from sandals to heels for a nice date night feel.) It’s such a pretty summer dress and SO flattering. It would be perfect for a wedding or even just as an everyday dress, as I can attest it looks just as perfect with sandals. It has this little ruffle at the bottom that might be my favorite feature (you can see it better on the model here). I am in the medium, I think that it runs a little bit big. I’m usually a medium at LOFT and I couldn’t size down to a small, so I’d say it runs true to size but expect it to fit looser. Which in my eyes is never a bad thing in the summer. I reject all things that touch my body in this summer heat. Hence the top knot — by noon my hair had refused to do anything worthy so up in a bun it goes.

Oooh, then it may work for me! I don’t wear off-the-shoulder thanks to a big surgery scar, but if it will work on-the-shoulder, there is hope!
