There’s a part of me that always wants to be a bit more boho than I am. I am drawn to feminine and polished pieces but I truly love a great boho piece. I think that’s why I like to peruse Anthropologie from time to time, to fill that boho void. I saw this dress (from Nordstrom, not Anthro) and knew it was meant to be on my body. It’s the perfect mix of boho and feminine with the off the shoulder touch. (My favorite pieces this pregnancy!)
Truth be told, when I’m not pregnant I would love to belt this dress and wear it a bit more slouchy around my waist. That would be adorable, I can just see it in my head. Maybe come September I can pull my best belts out and give it a shot. But if you currently have a waist line, I think adding a little belt to this dress would be adorable. Especially this belt here.
I don’t know who is more surprised by my love for flats this summer, you or me. But I have pretty much snubbed all my heels lately. (Besides my tried and true espadrilles, of course.) These flats are under $50 and the go with everything! At the beginning of the season, I was on the hunt for some cognac leather slides and was surprised to not find too many options this summer. But these are the perfect addition to my summer closet. Cognac leather never disappoints. (You can find the slides here!)
