Summer Shirt Dress

Ya’ll I am running so late today. You know those days you just can not get your life together? That is today. And I’ve just learned to accept it and move on. I’ve had a few things working against me: time and lack of sleep. Oh and the fact that we all skipped Monday and so Tuesday is just filling in — I literally just yawned while writing that sentence — for Monday. The lack of sleep I shall blame on pregnancy, but I see it this way: it’s great training for what is coming my way. A little sleepless night never hurt anyone right? I’m going to keep telling myself that and also I very literally stocked up on my favorite concealer as I noticed it was being discontinued. This stuff is like tar that magically makes you look awake and I have a feeling my future newborn mom self will thank me.

Okay enough of the pre-nap talk, let’s talk this Kate Spade dress! Oh and yes it’s on sale, my friends, which is my favorite way to buy Kate Spade. I honestly didn’t even notice this dress until it was on sale! I feel like it was meant for me on sale. It does run a bit loose, so keep that in mind when buying. I’ve been loving the woven tote trend this spring and summer. I’m on the waitlist for this lovely wicker purse but in the mean time I picked up this one from Sole Society (it’s under $100!) I love a tote in the summer because I find myself grabbing and throwing everything in and running out there door. Plus I love the casual, slouchy vibe. That’s my vibe all summer so maybe that’s why I was drawn to this purse. 😉
