I had a nightmare about black Friday last night. I guess you know you are in retail when shopping wakes you up at night in a cold sweat. In my dream our computer failed and people were getting angry because they couldn't check out. I ended up just locking people in the store so that they wouldn't leave before I could get my computer fixed. Just for future reference, don't lock people in anywhere. A hostage situation is not the best sales tactic.
So I got to wash my hair this morning, which was good because it was starting to dread. Red dreads -- you'd still read my blog right?
i love your blog for these kind of outfits! i love when you risk more and more because tha encourages me to play with my clothes too! kisse from Buenos Aires!
Red looks good on you!! And your dream is too funny! I worked retail for a LONG time and have had more than one black friday nightmare! good luck at the shop :)
Such a cute top & I love how you color co-ordinated with the bag. I dreamt last night that I smashed my iPhone by sleeping on it! Not a very original fear but still. Now I'm scared to even handle it too much.
That sweater print is totally cool! And your hair...what kind of dye did you use? Not that I'm going to run out and be a Kendi-copy cat but just curious. My mom does the natural Henna with the tea bags and natural dye.
I feel like that's completely normal! Most fashion bloggers would have nightmares about black friday, right? haha maybe you are one of the few, but regardless - it IS a scary thing!
By the way, you look fabulous. (as usual) I'm loving your pairings as well as the red! It makes you look fierce! hah xoxo, tiana of l'esthetique
I love that sweater! LOL @ the Black Friday nightmare. I remember working retail. I'm glad I don't have to brave the mad house. Getting up at 4:30/5am, to be at the store by 6 am, to open by 7am I'm tired just thinking about it. (^_^)
I've worked Black Friday for the past 5 years, and I gotta say, the day itself is a nightmare. Goodluck! Stop by my blog if you have the chance, currently featuring a DIY pink glittery pumpkin, my floral crown, a cat print dress, and a give-away!
I love the reddish hair! Subtle but enough to make a difference (unlike my college days when red had to be RED). Beautiful! And, like everyone else here, I'm loving those boots.
I joked about the hair yesterday, but I guess it really is a big change because I almost didn't recognize you in my Bloglovin' feed. I was all "who is THAT and when did I subscribe?" But it's you. Also, my blog may or may not also be showing off a gingham button-up under a sweater look today. Coinky-dink.
Dreams of dreading black friday...good thing you washed your hair! And really, it's okay to force cute clothes upon people. I mean, I'd be totally fine with it. Anyhoo, your hair is prettay. Good luck at Bloom on Friday.
The red in your hair looks so good on you! Really adds some depth and body to your hair! And of course, great outfit - love the jumper and shirt combo :)
The thing I love most about your outfit posts is you teach me different ways to wear the pieces I buy. When I buy something now, I think of a multitude of ways I can wear it, instead of one specific look. I admire your mix and mingle skill, as well as your choice in pieces. Just wanted to let you know you're my fashion hero. Thanks for looking awesome!
Oh my, you made me laugh with this, I use to work retail and I would always have this same nightmare right before Black Friday. (That and customers with chainsaws. Terrifying.) Also, how fun is red hair? I just went from brown to red and it is just insanely fun. The red looks quite lovely on you, it's very flattering on your skin-tone and looks gorgeous (And good luck with Black Friday, is Black Friday or the Small Business Saturday usually busier for you and your shop?)
i hope i don't sound totally creeps but can you share more pics of your hair? or what made you decide to go red? or what you did exactly? i have really dark hair and am really thinking about going red. i am digging the shade that you have going and was wondering about maintenance, etc.
Can you tell me what size your blue shaded dark orange Sweater is in the last photo? I'm purchasing one off line and its always hard to determine size. Thanks Prepare NOW Outfitters
