For those who celebrate, it’s Linen Season and I am thrilled. I love tossing on linen piece in the summer for a few reason, but the main one is it looks effortlessly chic. Well for the first hour. Linen does tend to wrinkle and quickly. There is no high like wearing a pair of fresh linen pants, hot off the press. You’ll never get that brand new linen crispness back after a wash, but that’s okay because the lived-in linen look is a favorite, too. Both of these pieces are linen-ish so they don’t wrinkle quite as easily or as quickly. My lightweight sweater top is a linen blend as are my pants. I like a linen blend sometimes to give a bit more structure, especially in pants. This Gap pair has a blend of rayon so they keep their shape throughout the day.
