Apparently I’ve been collecting colorful Spanx pieces like Infinity Stones this spring and I have put them all together in one post for ya! One note: If you haven’t tried Spanx denim or shorts before, they have a touch of compression at the waist and hips. It’s not tight or uncomfortable, it’s just a smoothing element that kind of keeps everything pulled in. I really like and appreciate the technology personally and it surprised me how it doesn’t make me feel like I’m wearing Spanx the underpants. (This was my initial fear with their denim.) I find a large fits me best at Spanx, unless we are talking AirEssentials, then you can go either way with your size. It runs generously, so you can size down if you are in between sizes like I am.
If you’ve never tried their jumpsuits before, they are all split into two halves in the back but don’t worry, no skin shows! Imagine the front top and bottom being sewn together and leaving an opening at the waist for you to be able to pull the bottom half down when you go to the restroom. It is quite easy to use and you are able to pull your bottom half down like normal pants. One note: While pee friendly, I do not find the jumpsuits period friendly. I won’t go into details, just know it’s level 1 friendly, not level 2. And may none of us know level 3.

SPANX EasyBreezy Cotton Linen Button-Down Vest + Shorts
I love a lil set and this one is precious. It’s a linen-ish fabric, I think it’s a cotton / linen blend and it’s fully lined. They’re a very tailored pair of shorts, a nice pleat in the shorts, and two buttons and a zip fly. They run pretty generously, I’m in the large and there is a lot of wiggle room. If you are in between sizes, you could go with the smaller size.
These also come in cream and black.
Of course, I needed to grab the matching vest! I love a set and since it is the same fabric as the shorts, they’re a perfect match. The top runs loose as well but for me in a very comfortable way. Not too tight at the bust, all working buttons, too. I’m in the large!
SPANXshape BoostUp Cami Dress
Here is the matching dress! It’s a nice weight; doesn’t show ‘lumps and bumps’! It’s a nice looser fit. I am in the large of the dress, fit is perfect and I like the length as well! There are biker shorts underneath but they aren’t too tight or short, really comfortable. There is not a built in bra, but you could easily pair a strappy sports bra with this and it would look just fine. (I like this Athleta one!)

SPANXshape BoostUp Cotton Fleece Crewneck
I know this is a very bold green, but I love it! It is more vibrant than it shows online, but I like it for summer! I would probably pair this with my sneakers, but it is super cute with these clear jellies as well. For a less ‘athleisure’ look.
I’m in the large of the sweatshirt (so so soft) but it does run pretty big! Size down if you want a closer fit.

SPANX AirEssentials Crewneck Long Sleeve Top + Shorts
That’s right my friends, ANOTHER matching set. I am hooked to these little soft sets. I am in the large of each piece here and I like the fit of both! The top runs big for me, but the bottoms are the perfect fit and a great length! Now these pieces do comes in a few colors as well but this new purple is gorgeous! This will be a perfect travel set for summer.

AirEssentials Tie-Waist Jumpsuit
This is one of my favorite pieces from Spanx! The AirEssentials is a new discovery for me this year and I love this fabric. It’s soft, it’s lightweight and it’s forgiving. Also all of Spanx’s one pieces have a split in the back so it’s way easier to use the restroom! (Even the activewear dress I shared!) For that reason I love these pieces, it makes it so easy.
I am in the large and it’s a bit loose overall. I’d say you can size down if you want, but overall it’s TTS with a loose generous fit.
SPANX AirEssentials French Rib Sleeveless Jumpsuit
Here is another jumpsuit and it has the same opening in the back (don’t worry it doesn’t show anything)! This one has the ribbed fabric, which isn’t quite as soft as the airessentials smooth fabric. It’s a touch heavier as well, but still a great weight, for spring / early summer. Now unfortunately this light sage hue is just almost sold out, if it isn’t already. But there are two other options available that would be easily wearable, too.
I am in the large, it runs a touch loose / big overall.
Authentic 360 Raw Hem Jean Shorts
If you like a ‘mom’ fit of denim shorts, step right up! This is a very high rise pair of denim shorts with compression. They’re very comfy and flattering. The denim has lots of stretch and is a nice stretchy light weight fabric. They are raw hem but so far they haven’t frayed out more. I can’t say that my bottom looks great in these lol but that’s none of my business. How I look behind me is none of my business.
I am in the large and it’s a perfect fit for me. Slightly loose but overall true to size. PS: my tee is new from Sezane! I’m in the large for a looser fit!
Spanx Lightweight Wide Leg Jeans
This is one of my favorite pairs of denim from Spanx! It’s a lightweight pair of denim with some stretch. The best part though is the elastic waistband! The front looks like normal jeans, but the back is elastic, it’s so comfortable and if you gain weight /loose weight bc 40s are no joke these jeans are gonna fit no matter! I would say they run generously, so you can size down if you are in between sizes.
SPANX® Beach Midi Dress
If you are looking for a very luxe, mid weight linen cover up, this is the one. It’s a thicker linen, slightly sheer with darker swimsuit, and an oversized fit. I am in the medium and it runs big! Very oversized, super nice quality and will last for many many summers to come.
SPANXshape® Swim Cutout One-Piece
This is the cutest swimsuit! I think it runs true to size, I’m in the large and the compression is LEGIT. Very flattering and easy to wear. (Slightly cheeky, and if you have a bigger than D cup chest, the boob window might swing open.)

SPANXsupersmooth™ Stretch Twill Short
These go into my “maybe” pile, unless you really need a nice twill short then I’d gladly recommend them. I haven’t found that I’ve reached for these much this summer, but there is still time I suppose! The pros: the fit is spot on with compression at the waist and hips, the fabric is a thicker twill with stretch (aka the compression) and the length is long but not too long. A nice mid-length. I like that they feel more tailored than my linen shorts, as well. The cons are probably just the style for me. I don’t find myself reaching for a tailored pair of black shorts much, but that doesn’t mean I won’t. I start getting tired of my go-to’s in by end of July, so these might have a reprise waiting for them!
I am in the large and they’re a great, relaxed but true fit.
