Hi friends! Happy Friday + Memorial Day Weekend! I hope you have a happy long weekend.

Last week was my last week before summer break. School got out Friday and we are in full summer mode now! We’ve been to the pool twice already! I’m equal part excited and unsure about how I’m going to get work done. But work aside, I do love the relaxed vibes of summer and this spring flew by for us, truly. So I’m expecting summer to do the same. This week we had a school event and my outfit totally fell apart on me. I wasn’t feeling my best (period) and went with comfort over cuteness. Bloggers, they’re just like us.

Friday | WFH

This was the easiest little outfit to throw and wear. These pants are so so comfortable, they are a loose relaxed fit so perfect for a WFH! I’m in the large of each piece here. PS: these jeans are on sale! Today is the last day for 30% off!

Saturday | Birthday Parties (all day!)

Man, Saturday was one of those marathon days where we had more invites than we had time. We didn’t make it to everything and I did miss my besties kid’s grad party but we did make it to back to back birthday parties. I was whooped by the end of the day!  I went for comfort this day and layered this sweatshirt over this dress and was comfy all day.

Sunday | Afternoon Patio Date

I’ve been loving this dress as you know. I wore it again last Sunday! I’ve actually never tried a Hill House dress before and I love it. It’s so soft and easy to toss on. But it looks rich and pulled together. I’m in the large, fit is true to size!

Monday | WFH

This was the last week of school for us! I ended up running a bunch of errands on Monday that I had missed over the weekend so I kept it really casual. I also launched my May drop of my pre-sale shop 🙂 Some real goodies are there if I do say so myself.

I just got these Spanx denim shorts in. I must say…I was this closer to trading in denim shorts this summer. But this pair is really comfortable and stretchy. Long enough as well! I’m in the large and they’re slightly loose in the best way. I’d say TTS!

Tuesday | Coffee with friend

I wore this outfit to grab coffee with a friend! A little last week before summer coffee date. Also wearing white to a coffee shop is bold. Happy to report there are no (new) stains on my white jeans. I’m in the 10 of this top from Sezane and because it’s a shorter top, I really like this size. I can never tell if I’m an 8 or a 10 at Sezane but in this top a 10 is perfect.

Wednesday | Salon visit / WFH

Had a little salon visit to cover my grays! I’m trying to grow my hair out but I’ll be honest this length is my least favorite length. If I make it through this summer without a chop, I’ll be surprised. I hate the in between, hence my affinity towards extensions in the last few years. I oscillate between a cute bob and long hair. The in-between is just not for me.

Thursday | Graduation Ceremony

We had a little graduation ceremony at our daughter’s school and I’ll be honest this was not what I was planning on wearing. These pants actually come as as set but I didn’t love the top on me on this particular day. To be clear, I like the set but I wasn’t feeling it this day. (TMI but it was THE week so nothing looked good or felt good ya know?) But the pants felt comfortable so I opted for a white button down. Comfort was the key. I also wasn’t sure of the vibe of the event and when I got there, I realized I should have dressed up a bit more. Don’t you hate when that happens? I wished I’d felt good enough to wear that pretty purple J.Crew dress, but alas. Some days you just have to give in to elastic waist pants.
