I was just talking with my husband and we both decided that this has been the longest week. Not a bad week, but very long indeed. May is a marathon for those of us with kids in school, no? It seems like every weekend has multiple things going on — we’ve had birthday parties (plural), soccer games, end of season parties, school events, you name it I feel like I’ve been to it or I’m planning on going. But you know what I hear in all of this? Just another place for me to wear some cute outfits. Occasions = outfits in my book.

This week and last I’ve been up at my daughter’s school volunteering a lot. It’s been a busy spring with school activities so I’m finding myself there when I can. Other than that, it was a work from home kind of a week around here! I wore all of my comfy but cute outfits I could find. Which I inadvertently ended up wearing a lot of things that are now on sale! Lucky for you! I’ve linked all the sales below each outfit.

Friday | School Volunteer

I am definitely in my school mom era right now. I signed up to decorate the teacher lounges for Teacher Appreciation this week and we needed to do lots of cut outs last week to prep for this week. I went comfortable with these pants (my favorites right now). I also wanted too see if I could go casual with these pants instead of just active wear and I like how this outfit turned out!

I’m in the large of the pants, great fit for a 8/10. I’m in the large of the tee, it’s TTS but it is a cropped fit.

Saturday | Errands

Both my top and shorts are on sale! My top is 25% off and it runs loose / generous. I’m in the medium! Size down if anything. My shorts are about $50 now! I’m in the large, but they run big. I just didn’t exchange for a medium bc I’m lazzzyyyy. But they are my favorites for summer!

Side note — I fully steamed this outfit before I left the house. Linen is good for about 15 minutes lol.

Sunday | Date Night

I feel like a stylish monk in this dress, in the best way. I was sus about this dress at first but it fits a bit better now and it’s more flowy than when I first got it. It needs the flowy in my opinion. I’m in the large, fits perfectly now! (The middle is cinched on purpose! It’s quite flattering too.)

PS: let me put you on to these flats. I LOVE THEM SO. They are the equivalent to my everyday suede flats for fall but for summer!  They have a comfy sole and they’ve never rubbed, not once. I’m in my true to size as well.

Monday | Volunteering at School

I had one more volunteer slot for Teacher Appreciation Week so I wore something easy to school. This outfit is a repeat and will be for all of summer! It’s just so comfortable.

My set is 40% off now! It’s been sitting at full price since I got it, so I’m very excited it’s on sale! (You can see my full Gap try on here.) I’m in the medium of the top (generous) and large of the shorts (runs more snug at the waist). Quick note: the top and the shorts are a slight shade off from matching perfectly. If you are type A, need not apply to this set.

Tuesday | Coffee w/ friend

I love this little eyelet top — it’s very me, right?? I love a white top but I’ve been trying to stop buying so many GD white tops lately. But this one got me. It’s so perfect and very classic, I feel like this will work for many spring and summers to come. I’m in the 10 of the top, it’s a touch big but I’d rather that than it being tight.

Wednesday | WFH

I love this little top, kind of wanting it in the orange and pink now, too. It’s lightweight but not sheer, well so sheer that you can see my bra. So that’s good enough for me! I paired this with my favorite denim shorts from last year (I found a very similar pair this year!) and I didn’t realize this day was so so chilly out. It went from gorgeous sunny day to cold and rainy so this outfit lasted a few hours (I swapped into jeans!)

Side note: I’m trying to grow my hair out not so expect lots of clips and pony tails. I hate this stage of grow out, so any hair growth tips are very welcome!! Currently doing nothing (:

Thursday | Science Fair

It was a big day for our little scientist! We had a science fair showing at our daughter’s school and it was so fun to see everyone’s projects. I’ve worn this ‘fit before so I knew it would be a winner. I like to repeat outfits at events like this, just so that I feel the most comfortable if that makes sense. I did swapped my shoes for these Zara sandals and added this Quince bag.

PS: my shirt is 40% off! I’m in the medium, it fits VERY oversized!
