I got my hair cut and colored last week and my hair stylist who just happens to be my best friend started cutting before I said anything about my hair. She then stopped and asked mid-cut ‘wait — you wanted the same thing as last time right?’ and we  laughed because we both just assumed what the other was thinking: cut The Bob. There is just something about this cut that feels like me right now. I’m not saying I won’t wake up one day and immediately wish my hair were long again, but for now this is my haircut until further notice. It’s the Bob for me.

I found a few sweaters under $100 from Nordstrom that I really like and wanted to share this week. This is one and I just love the feature in the back. You can also reverse it and wear it forward but I noticed when doing that the look becomes more casual, definitely jeans friendly. This twist back covers your bra as well! So that’s a plus, if you were concerned. It runs fairly true to size, I’m in the medium and it’s a looser but true fit.

You can find it under $100 here.

My pants and scarf are both well under $100 from Zara. I size up in pants at Zara and the large fit me perfectly in these with a bit of wiggle room as well. I like this navy for fall and this sweater x pants combo is exquisite in person. Black is also a good option, as well. I like this silhouette, there is something about it that feels vintage. And I don’t know if I mean “vintage” as in 2010s or 1960s, but somewhere in between lol. Find them in so many colors here.

PS: my suede flats are my best purchases this fall. I’m in my typical size and I’ve noticed that they’ve widened a bit with wear, but overall true to size. Not quite under $100, but you can find them here!

Fit Details

I am in the medium of the sweater. It runs true to size, but relaxed across the bodice, just slightly shorter. I am in the large of the pants, they have stretch to them and they’re the most fitted at the waist. Large is perfect for 8/10. The flats run true to size.
