(spoiler: I LOVE them.)
As you know, I stopped into Gap this weekend but not without doing my homework first. That’s right I do pre-shopping before actually shopping. I like to be prepared. So anyways these jeans were on my YES list and lucky for me they were right in the front door. Now I didn’t realize that they would somehow sell out within the weekend so this striped situation is low on sizes but I LOVE the lighter chambray color, which I’m going to be honest I will go pick up today. Why? Because I love this pair of jeans. They are a jean structured fabric but they’re soft and of course they are drawstring waist. Now they run very big. This is the medium and it’s loose all over. From the waist to the legs, this jean runs big. I love this fit because I don’t want them to be fitted, that’s the vibe right? But if you are in between sizes you can go down a size for sure. I probably could have done a small but that feels wrong to me. And I like the slouch, the casualness of it all.
You can find the chambray version here! But also just in case these come back into stock this is the striped one here! Also there are so many colors too for this pair of jeans, so even if you like the shape but not this stripe (it IS specific) then check them out!
Now speaking of stripes, I also love this pair of denim here. It is the horse shoe shape (gap’s version of the barrel leg and honestly more descriptive) I can not confirm or deny this allegation but I think that it’s a stiffer more denim denim than the ones I’m wearing now. Just wanted to give options if you like this look but this one I’m wearing is sold out!

Side note — love this sweatshirt and I want to fully acknowledge that it is wild of me, a Texan, to buy a sweatshirt before summer. I know, but I really loved the fit, the crop, the fabric. It’s thicker but to too thick and I know I’ll be thanking myself this fall / winter. Lord knows I love a sweatshirt. It’s 20% off too!
