I am back with another pair of trousers I’d highly recommend. I have been on the HUNT this fall for a pair of good trousers that works for a rounder waist and so far, I’ve got 3 I’d highly recommend. (The 3rd is to come next week!) This just goes to show that when you point your hyper fixation to something specific, you can really get something done.

The first pair was this very wide leg pair from Anthropologie (find the review here). This pair is a bit different than that one; a bit more fitted at the waist, lower slung towards the hips, a bit shorter and the leg is more straight than wide. I find that this Madewell pair lends more to a bootie or a mule (as seen here) or a heel, of course more than the other pair. This one is a classic trouser with a more modern twist and I love the fit. This pair fits me true to size, I’m in the 10 which is my size across the board for trousers at Madewell. They relaxed as I wore them throughout the day, but did not stretch out per se. Super flattering as well, the pleats don’t pucker out and they lay flatter than the Harlow trousers which is why I like them more for me. The Harlow trousers are a hard fit for my body type, so this pair is a really nice option.

And guess what?! Madewell is having their Insiders Sale which means if you sign up for an account (it’s your email + it’s free!) you can get 25% off this week! So 25% off these trousers, this pair of shoes, this bag, this tee, this cardigan…basically this post.

You can find this pair of trousers here!

Or if you want to shop the sale find it here.

PS: get this pair of Mules — they are comfortable, super easy to wear and you can pair it with anything that you’d pair a black boot with. It’s a perfect transition boot before we really get into boot season!
