Believe me when I say, I am loving all of the color this season and I have full intention of wearing more as the summer warms up. But I won’t lie — I love a moody outfit even in the summertime. And I’ve been especially love all of the black linen pieces I’ve found too. Tossing it on is a risk because black in summer heat can be an instant recipe for sweat, but this is where the cool linen comes into play. It’s a nice combo for those of us who can’t let go of a little winter, even in the summer time.
This top is just about sold out at Madewell but my summer pants are full stock! These are from J.Crew and they are so roomy, so comfy. I love them. I’m in the medium, fit is quite generous! They’re a nice pant for under $100 and they wash out beautifully. I washed them on delicate cold, hung them to dry and they fit perfectly the next time I put them on. Plus they didn’t faded out immediately. Highly recommend, they’re nice quality pair of linen pants!
