Happy Tuesday which I fully thought was Monday. (I just had to check again, it is in fact Tuesday, not Monday.) How is everyone? We are hanging on over here. I’ve got lots to catch you up on, but let’s do that for a whole other post not a cute little outfit post. I apologize for the photo quality today, we’ve had such grey days here lately and my iPhone was the best I could do, but I wanted to share this Madewell denim dress. It’s adorable and you know I love a one-piece. This is the ultimate one piece, it’s like denim overalls for those of us who feel like adult babies in them but better because your legs aren’t trapped. If it were colder here I would have paired this with some black tights (non-opaque for what it’s worth) but today is a bare leg kind of day, if you can believe. The dress itself fits perfectly (I’m in the large) with a hint of stretch but it’s not tight at at. Fitted, but not tight if that makes sense. It is slightly short so that’s where the tights would come in hand — I always feel safer with tights under a dress or skirt. But other than a bit of a short skirt, it’s a perfect fit for me.
This dress has lots of potential as well. I went with the classic black boots look but you could pair cognac boots and a bag with this, pop on a bright beanie for a little bit of color and of course this dress would work well with sneakers, too. Oh why don’t I just show you!
