I heard a rumor (that I may have started) that big scarves were coming back in. To which I respond with: were they ever really out? If wrapping a huge blanket-like thing around me and convincing others ‘it’s chic’ isn’t my life’s mission then I don’t know what is.
Admittedly this scarf is giant, so I’ve linked a similar here that is a bit smaller. This giant scarf was actually from a collaboration last year and I just love the size of it. I was very happy when I woke up to very cold weather today, so I paired it with my very oversized sweater from the shop and voila! A very cozy cocoon of style. I was on the fence with white jeans on this outfit — do we like them? I mean, sure white denim in winter is always a chic look, but I don’t know…I guess with all of the ‘this is IN / this is OUT’ nowadays I get confused. Style bloggers — they’re just like us; confused as hell by the hundreds of trends thrown out daily by TikTok. Let’s make a pact that if the internet ever says ‘white jeans are out’, we all collectively agree to ignore that statement. They can take my side part, but they’ll never take my white jeans. (which are the 90s straight jeans from Madewell – I can’t get enough!)
Speaking of side parts, I’m trying to grow my hair out so my teeny tiny low bun has turned into a mid-crown samurai bun. I just wanted you to know that I know. I feel like this is just inches away from being a topknot. Only time — and TikTok apparently — will tell.
