I’ve worn my fair share of statement jackets, coats, and well whatever they are calling this one — a coat cardigan on this blog. Look, I’ve done it all but my absolute go-to outfit with a statement coat or jacket is an all black base. This works especially well for right now because layering is necessary (so I can toss this jacket off when it gets warm in the afternoon!) I have a few more examples of how I’ve worn statement coats below, but I”m telling you — black jeans or pants + a black top is the chicest look around.
