This dress was just almost a contender for the 4th of July as well but I decided to go with the blue romper just to keep with in coordination with my girl. But let me tell you this dress is perfect for hot summer days. It’s light and airy and as you can see, it loves a gust of wind. It really comes alive; it’s giving Marilyn, it’s giving care free, it’s giving I hope she is wearing shorts under there. (I am, don’t you worry.)

I am in the large of the dress for length reasons because this dress is very loose and is tightened by two ties in the back. There is a big dramatic tie that criss crosses around that you an adjust and then one for the waist. It’s nice because you can adjust where it ends up on you. Now I have to have it a bit longer because *morals* but you can slightly adjust the length as well by drawing up the back. It’s lightweight but lined, so it’s a really nice option for hot summer days. Find it via Nordstrom here!

  1. Hi Kendi

Pretty dress. I love it! It immediately evoked in me the title of the very beautiful moovie “The Unbearable Lightness of Being”. However, I don’t know which role you would like to play: the role of Tereza or that of Sabina.

  2. Kendi, thanks for sharing!
Buying a good mini dress for less than $100 can be challenging, but it’s not impossible. Nordstrom really often arranges sales
