Happy Saturday! How do we feel about these Saturday posts lately? I’ve been wanting to share some of my casual looks and Saturday feels like the perfect day for it. Especially these shorts — I call them my Saturday shorts because they’re always weekend ready. I actually hated this bike short trend when it started a few seasons ago. I mean HATED but now…I’m kind of into it. And by kind of…I mean I have like three pairs now. I’m not just into it, I’m fully invested.
I really like the fit of the Nike mid rise ones and the Zella brand so far. Each of these are the right fit for what I’m looking for — not so tight that it feels uncomfortable and the right length for me. I’ve figured out it’s the length that you have to get exactly right for your leg and height to like biker shorts. Not until I found the perfect length did I like this trend. So if you’ve tried one pair and it wasn’t the perfect one, give another brand or pair a shot! I like them to be a little bit shorter than longer and this pair is the perfect length for that. This Free People tunic is super soft but I gotta tell ya — it’s very long and oversized. Size down for a closer or shorter fit! I’m in the medium and I realized way too late that I would prefer the small. Find this tunic here!
How do we feel about Birkenstock’s but the plastic ones? I resisted for so many years but this year I finally caved and got them. Spoiler — I love them. Have you tried them before? Love them or leave them?? Find them here!

I absolutely love the Saturday posts! And I was on the fence with the plastic Birkenstocks and ventured out last summer. They are so comfortable and I actually like them – surprise!
