Don’t you just feel so dressed up in a dress? Like instantly elevated? It doesn’t matter how casual the dress is, I just feel dressed up. But the thing is, dresses are the easiest thing in the world to wear in the summer. Like I find a dress to be a no-brainer in the summer, so I’ve been on the hunt for some casual one-pieces to wear. This dress is actually pretty casual even though it looks pretty and nice. It’s undercover casual because it kind of looks fancy even with sandals. But honestly, it’s so comfortable, perfectly lightweight and so easy to pair with sandals. Only downside is you gotta steam it or iron it. So perhaps it’s high-maintenance casual. And if that phrase doesn’t explain my personal style I don’t know what does.

You can find this dress here.

I hate to mention this but..this would be a great v-word dress (*looks around and whispers vacation*) … next year. Are you traveling this summer? I think we are staying put but I’m always interested in knowing what everyone’s plans are! Mainly because I’m nosey and I want to live vicariously through you.

Oh and by the way, my backpack is back in stock! You can find it here. It’s been my go-to for errands lately. I have this one and a grey color and honestly they’ve replaced all my other bags. It’s just such a nice mom bag and it’s easy to throw on if I don’t want to put my purse in the shopping cart. Quarantine has me rethinking a lot of things and handbags is one of them. But that’s another post for another day 😉
