My Favorite Fall Combination

If I had to pick just a few colors to wear in the fall, it would most likely be these hues: navy, camel, black, grey. (Although I’d need to throw in burgundy as well. I love her, too.) But these colors are just the best go-to’s for fall. They are classic, easily intertwined and play well with each other. It’s rare to find me in too bright of colors in fall, mainly because I tend to stick to this color palette naturally.

So when I found this Boden blouse at Nordstrom and I just instantly loved the pattern and of course, the colors. It doesn’t feel like anything else I have in my closet. Plus, doesn’t the pattern kind of looks like the illustration for ‘POW’ or little explosions?  This is how I’d describe me. Tiny little explosions but dressed in very classic colors. 😉 I wanted to show how fun the sleeves on this top were so I slipped my blazer off for a few photos! They are fabulous if I do say so myself.

I’ve received so many questions about these Madewell jeans since I wore them on IG this past weekend with this LOFT sweater of mine. They are actually a dark grey, not a faded black. And the fit is just perfect. I am in my typical size although I feel like you could go down a size if you are in between sizes. I think that they fit just right for my normal size!

And speaking of Madewell, I picked up these black heels for my birthday. You know you’re in your mid-30s when you pick up a sensible black heel for your own birthday gift to yourself. 😉 I have to say — they photograph so much prettier on than I thought! They are the most comfortable shoe that I actually wouldn’t care if they didn’t photograph well, because these babies have moved to the front of my shoe list.
