Lilac Love

I find the simplest of outfits are some of my favorites. This is truly just a t-shirt and jeans look, but I made it a bit more colorful with a nice lilac hued tee and a very bold pair of earrings.. I received these earrings as a gift for Mother’s Day from Bryan a few weeks ago. Looks like someone had been peeping at my Friday Night Likes. It didn’t hurt that I may have also told him that I would not be sad if these ever ended up in my jewelry collection. When I received them, I was so excited to get to wear them I changed outfits just so they would match and I could wear them for the rest of the day. I will say this — they get heavy after about half a day. But I’m usually only clean and fancy for half a day, so the timing is perfect for me. So let’s talk about this tee! It’s not just any tee, you guys: this is the Everlane Air Tee. The fit is the oversized V-Neck and I LOVE it and want one in every color. I tried a few of their other tees a while back (I was going to do a review and completely forgot! I’ll put that back on my list!) and this fabric is my favorite of all their tee’s so far. It’s soft and has a tiny bit of give to it and it feels like an expensive tee even though it isn’t. I went oversized because I love a loose, loose tee which is sometimes hard to come by with boobs, so I took a gamble and sized up one full size and I love the way it fits. If you aren’t chest-blessed, stay true to size. It will still fit slightly oversized. You can find this tee here and it’s under $30!
