I’ve always loved color and quirk in my closet (exhibit a: shoes with just one eye on them) I always, always, always choose my basics when it comes to very favorite and most worn pieces. I was looking for a few black tops because I’ve been living in grey and white and with a newborn, it’s do-able if you’re quick and attentive. But black is where it is at when you want to look chic but you are also hiding a few stains. I looked on ASOS first because I knew that they have really good basic pieces that didn’t feel boring and let’s be honest, fabric that would easily allow the drool to be washed out. (Mine, not Gemma’s.) I found this easy black top and I’ve lived in it recently. I actually bought it back in the fall and they restocked it! Now I can share it with ya’ll! You can find this easy top here!

Fit Details

This ASOS top fits true to size but oversized. If that isn’t your thing, size down! I am in the 8, if that is helpful.

Monthly Capsule Wardrobe

Each month I create monthly capsules out of my favorite pieces, perfectly curated for each month.

  1. I’ve followed you from your beginning 😉 and have always loved the color in your closet too and how you put color together so creatively. I just wanted to say, I for one am so super excited that you’re switching to more casual outfits since you’ve had sweet Gemma. I personally have been following your blog much more faithfully now because I find more ideas and relatable content with more casual looks since I’m a busy, stay at home mom too. I know I’m one in thousands of followers, but the more casual looks? I’M A FAN 🙂 🙂
