I told you earlier this month that one of my goals this year is dressing with more intention and truly loving the things I own and the things I buy. And the best way to show love to a piece of clothing is to wear it to its threads. This sweatshirt has been living up to this goal of intention, as I’ve literally worn it every single weekend since I’ve bought it. Bryan has dubbed it my ‘weekendi’ sweatshirt (yeah, Weekendi. We cheesy like that.) If he didn’t have a calendar, he’d know it was the weekend by my sweatshirt. And my wine glass.

Speaking of weekend outfits, this is pretty much my uniform. I’m trying to keep myself from dressing too casually during the week and for the most part, I wear my yoga pants on the weekends. So you are looking at my weekend uniform. (But sometimes weekends start on Friday. Let’s be honest.) Besides this sweatshirt, my Zella Live In Leggings are always on rotation. In fact, when I’ve ignored my laundry basket for long enough and I can’t find a pair of yoga pants that’s when I know it’s time to do laundry. Priorities people. Yoga pants are life.

I always leave fit info in the Editor’s Notes below but I wanted to point out that this sweatshirt really does run a size too small. I am in the large, typically I’m a medium in Madewell but this one is tighter. Although I feel like it has stretched as I’ve worn and washed it. And just to be safe, I hang this sweatshirt up to dry when I launder it. I can’t risk any shrinkage because then what would I wear on Saturdays? 😉

Size up in the sweatshirt! Zella leggings are true to size. And these Nike’s are a past design but I linked the closest one!

  1. I’ve never related to any sentence more than “yoga pants are life.” Great cute & functional look for running around town or staying comfy at home!

  2. Love this sweatshirt! I couldn’t have worn it a few months ago, because I nursed and I was a ‘pull the shirt down’ kind of person, instead of reveal my whole stomach. You know? haha BUT I’m not breastfeeding anymore so bring on any kind of neckline I please!
