As you now know, we are in the process of closing down the shop and each day has become increasingly more tempting to say ‘shuck it all I’m wearing yoga pants today’. But then I remember I’ve got a closet full of pretties, not that yoga pants aren’t but you know — it’s a dark tunnel with no end once I put the yoga pants on — so I have been leaning pretty heavily on my denim these past few days. I also realized that one of my favorite ways to wear denim is still with chambray. Years and years of chambray live inside of this blog and yet it’s still an easy favorite and go-to on the busy days.
I will say that this is an updated version of the typical chambray I’ve known and loved. This Free People is just a toss on and go kind of a top and I love the no button down vibe. It takes the casual effect to another level, which I am all about. Oh and these girlfriend jeans were from last summer and for some reason they don’t make them in this shade of blue any longer, but I did find them with a bit of distressing here. And as always an under $100 version here. You know I got you, boo.
