I fight it every February: the floral fever. And this weather is not helping. My need for spring styles is hard to harness but when it’s still cold outside or there is snow on the ground I can usually keep my head out of the flowers. But do you see snow on the ground there behind me? No. There is no winter that I see around here so it’s becoming pretty evident that I’m basically going to just give into spring early this year. My wits are rendered useless against all of the floral skirts out there and with weather that begs for skirts.
Alright non-existent winter, you win. *happily dives into pile of floral clothes*

This is soooooooo pretty! I ordered the tee! Did you see the definition for “springify” in the last J. Crew catalogue? So me, especially in February, and so funny/true: “To make it feel like spring is coming sooner by wearing florals, stripes, sparkle and color – even it it’s still freezing out”. 🙂 We are definitely not showing signs of spring (I’m in the Midwest) but I can also live vicariously through your pictures for now I guess as well.
I have loved seeing more casual style on your blog since the first of the year!!! i.e. jeans outfits and some flats. Just a personal preference, but I love it. Congratulations on your new site too.
