You can’t see it in these photos but it snowed last night. The wimpiest amount of snow ever (it’s pretty much melted now) but that’s not what is important here. IT SNOWED. In Texas. In November. This is unprecedented. I’m rebelling against this harsh cold by not wearing tights today. Somehow I think I’m the one that’s losing this battle but I’m at least getting my point across.
On a sunny warm day I ended up buying this cozy sweater thinking ‘oh it will be a while until I get to wear this one, but I need a warm sweater.‘ Boy was I right and wrong at the same time. This is one of those sweaters that you don’t have to layer with anything really because it’s already really warm; it’s like a built-in heater. And apparently we are going to have a real winter this year so I’m glad I invested. Needless to say, I’m scared of the impending winter apocalypse. Kendi and winter do not mix. (Remember that time I slipped and fell on the ice and had to wear a sling last year? Good memories, fun times.) Here is for hoping I have better luck on the ice this year. Or at least better shoe traction and common sense.
