I have a friend (meaning we met one time at a blogger conference and we hugged = friend!) who makes beautiful clothing. Her name is Cori and this is her dress. (She is also the Cori behind this favorite skirt of mine.) I love a woman running her own business, especially when it includes beautiful pieces like this one. Plus it has pockets. I feel like that’s the only introduction this dress needs. It’s so perfect and ladylike in all the right places. All that to say, good job friend. You’ve made a perfect dress.

How was your Valentine’s, love bugs? Did you do anything fun? We did exactly what I said we would do. Except we actually did go out instead of staying in; we walked downtown to our favorite burger spot and then we watched tv on the couch. Romance IS alive after all.

  2. Kendi,

You're gorgeous as always! Loving this adorable dress, and how you styled it with hot pink! I just posted an outfit in a blue dress! I'd love if you'd check it out! Happy Monday!!

  3. Loving those shoes! You don't fancy shipping a pair to England?! 😛

  4. That skirt was sensational. So is this dress. And your bag…don't even get me started on your bag. Also, every time I come here now I get more and more convinced I want to bob my hair for the summer.

  5. Pretty, pretty! Love the pop of pink!

  6. how comfortable are these shoes … they scare me a bit due to the height …. I am a wimp in heels but they look like they would go with everything!!

  7. Oh, I love it! I could imagine styling it up in the summer with metallics and a bold lip, or dressed down with casual shoes and messy hair…now, where's the $150 I set aside for the unexpectedly perfect dress…

  8. This is gorgeous. I just KNEW it would be that stripey skirt. It is my favourite skirt too. Can't wait to get it!

  9. We went and saw the Lego Movie. I ate popcorn for lunch, lots and lots of popcorn!

  10. You look gorgeous Kendi! I love the blue on you and your friend is super talented! xx

  11. Hmmm – don't think it's very flattering as the bust looks like its smooshing your assets and the pockets look wonky – they don't lie flat. The seam between top and bottom also looks a little rough. A good start but not ready for prime time.

  12. You are indeed beautiful on that blue getup. The necklace and bracelet really give a fantastic spice on your overall outlook. 🙂

  13. Thanks for sharing! I love both your styles and it is neat to see you wear another blogger's outfit and make it your own.

  14. Your comment that she's your friend after meeting her once, reminds of the shirt on BloggingGear.com that says "I've never met my best friend".

  15. Corilynn has such beautiful pieces, and you model this dress so perfectly! And that bag is gorgeous!
