You will notice my face is hidden in most of these photos. That’s because it decided to not wake up today. Morning face all day long — it’s the curse of switching back to standard time. Easy solution for picture taking though, just crop the face. You came here for my outfit anyways, right?

I’m usually really into bold, bright colors and, well I still am (ahem… yesterday’s pants) but my color wheel seems to be much more muted this fall. I’ve been drawn to black and dark neutrals much more than I normally am. Is it the season? is this me getting old? am I going color blind? I don’t know, but I’m into it.

  1. I can't believe that dress is being sold for 100.00. I wouldnt pay 5.00 for it. To be honest, it's very unflattering. I have seen you do much better in clothes. Ditch that dress!!!

  2. love the dress! very cute. I love that you still look perfect with morning face! I had morning face all day long without realzing quite what it was called. Thanks for defining it! haha:)

  4. Random photog question – what settings did your photographer shoot in to still get a bright picture despite the blah day/clouds?

  5. Your boots and jacket are so rad! You look amazing like always. I love your blog, I always am so inspired by your sense of style.

  6. i have found the exact same thing this season!! Maybe this is what happens when we hit 29? maybe its social media seeping in to our sub concious? who knows either way im loving it!!! you are looking so so good in everything lately, and great outfit inspiration xx

  7. This jacket started me on a hunt for a military jacket where I found the perfect one at Old Navy !!! I also found a few amazing chunky sweaters (all under $40) & I am wearing one of them on my blog today. I tried on the coated denim that you have worn in past posts but sadly it was not the fit for me!! Sometimes I have to keep that in perspective when I'm dealing with such a great price point!

  9. Hi Kendi, you always look lovely, awake or not! I just found out a dress I have for sale on ebay is your signature Modcloth dress. It's new without tags in a size large. It ended up just being too big for me. It's a beautiful dress if anyone has any interest. I sure wish it would have fit me. It's gorgeous! btw, I love your blog!
