I know you aren’t going to believe me but this is not my house or my balcony. Our house doesn’t have a balcony, in fact I’m not even sure if we have an attic. But I am 99% sure we don’t have a second floor. Of course who needs a second floor to have a balcony? I could just knock out our bedroom wall and put up some columns. And some of the huge lion statues, so people know we are high class.
Hence, why I went with a style blog instead of a decor blog.
This will round up my 30 for 30 summer remix.  (I’ll try to post all 30 looks this week, promise.) I always feel like I just finished running a marathon after a 30 for 30. Although technically I’ve never run a marathon. I have run a full mile though. I know, you are impressed and probably thinking, ‘how does this girl have time to run a whole mile once in her life and wear clothes?’
It’s a gift.

  1. I’m super excited about trying my own 30 for 30 starting tomorrow!  Thanks for the idea!

  2. Ha, ha … I have power walked a marathron. Was sore for days … But I understand your metaphor for the 30 for 30. I think its more like having children: it seems like a good idea at the time, the first 2/3’s are good, the end is a little painful, you kinda glad when it’s over, but look back at the journey with joy.

I don’t actually have children, but I can imagine it would be like this …

  3. I really enjoyed your outfits this 30!  Esp. that floral shirt.  Super fab.  I just started a 15 for 15 with just clothes and I’m quite happy!  I think it was the shoes that bummed me out when I was doing the 30 three 30s ago!  I’m trying to wear a different pair of shoes every day! 🙂

  4. I love that skirt! And what a great color. Nice end to a 30 for 30. It would be most impressive if you ran that mile in that outfit! 🙂

  5. I love those shoes! they’re so gorgeous:)
ps. not gonna lie my heart skipped a beat when I read “The End” I thought you were saying that you are leaving the blog. That would make me very sad I love reading your blog it’s always so cheerful!
have a nice day 🙂 xx

  6. Yea, congrats on finishing the 30 for 30 race!  I just finished the other day, and I agree that it totally feels like running a marathon.  Now if only getting dressed every day could burn the same amount of calories as a marathon i’d be set!  I love that you ended on a nice simple note.  Simple white tank, red skirt, and some snazzy little red accents.  Super cute as always 🙂

  7. Either I’m not very observant or you are absolutely amazing at remixing (actually, it’s probably both), because I totally forgot that you were even in the middle of a 30 for 30. Love the outfits, love your blog 🙂

  8. I think this was your best yet. This didn’t even seem like a remix. Flew by fast (from this perspective).

  9. Kendi, do you have the red UO heels or the red-orange? I just purchased the red ones and they are so, so pretty! But, they are RED… the ones I see you wear here look almost like a coral color? Is it just my computer screen? I just can’t tell if your skirt/heels are reddish or red-orangeish… 🙂

  10. I can’t believe the 30 for 30 is already over! You look gorgeous! 🙂

  11. You look so darling! This color is literally genius on you. And not to mention I love the 30 for 30 idea. It could really save me some money. I know I’d be sneaking away to buy things during it…. I really need to work on that.

    anyways, love the look!

  12. Oh man I’ve only run 1/2 marathon so far. I just posted my mid 30 recap. I’m taking the scenic route this time around.

  13. Congrats!!!

I completed mine but…stopped taking pictures after the 1st week due to not having an actual camera. Posed quite the problem.

I do plan to participate in the next remix and actually post photos!

Love the orange skirt bt dub!!

  14. Congratulations!!!
The whole 30 for 30 thing has inspired me to try to be more creative with my wardrobe. I’ve been putting things together that I’ve never worn together before. I feel like I went shopping but didn’t spend any money ^_^

  15. Haha, Kendi I love you (r writing)! Since we live in different time zones, I read your posts in the morning (it’s 7:53 am here) and it made my day (I’m quite sure, since the rest will consist of studying civil law).
I can’t believe the 30 for 30 is over already. However, I didn’t even notice you were still doing it. You seriously get better and better!

  16. you are one of the funniest blogs i read…i’m actually dying of laughter
but not enough to stop reading

  17. I hope this doesn’t come off sounding weird or creepy, but you have great legs 🙂

I always enjoy your 30 for 30, but I think I enjoy your first outfits after you’re done because that’s when you get to wear whatever you want and whatever you’ve been wanting to wear for the whole month.  You’ve got style, girl!  And you’re entertaining to read.  Can’t wait to see all 30 outfits together.  It went by so fast!

  18. woah dude, you zoomed right through this 30 for 30. or at least, it seems like this to me. and good choice with the coral coral thing you got going on. supa for summa

  19. I love that color. It’s so delicious.

And funny enough, as you wrap your 30for30 up, I’m getting going on mine. 😀 (Though, I’m always posting to the future, so it won’t look like it for a couple days).

  20. I feel like you had an easier time with this 30 for 30. I’ve been following you since before you started doing them and this time around, your outfits were so effortless, I forgot you were doing another round of it. Great job!

  21. Nice outfit to end the 30 for 30, whar color is exactly the skirt? It seems a bit orange with that light. I’m still shocked by the fact you can run a mile once in your life & wear clothes, I’d be even more impressive if you confirm that you wear clothes while you ran that mile lol

  22. Yay for finishing! I hear you on the whole marathon thing…this challenge really made me miss my clothes that were not a part of the challenge.

  23. Yummmy! Seriously, because of you, coral is me new favorite color! I really want to steal everything you are wearing right now.

  24. I’m sad that your 30 for 30 is done now. I cried a little yesterday. But emotions aside…. Great job! I love all your outfits and photos:) Kudos to your photographer as well!

  25. lol. you’re so funny! Is there any way to join the remixers still? Or link up somehow? Thanks. I have a blog of me and my 3 kids. clothedwithlilies.blogspot.com

  26. Wow. Really like what you’re doing and I’m so happy to have found your site. (Can’t take all the credit, I saw you on Creature Comforts). You’re adorable!

i also love how your shoes match your skirt. adorable!!!! 😀 you always look amazing!

  28. You should definitely go for it with the lion statues, they exude class. Love those pumps, wish I had bought a pair a while back. Now I just have too many freaking shoes.

  29. Hi
First of all I would like to say I love reading your blog!
And I was wondering what color are your Urban Outfitters suede pumps.
I’ve recently bought the red, but they didn’t look like the ones in your pictures 🙁

  30. Truly, you are a gifted individual. I’m with you on the lions. Tres classy…
