The return of a favorite. This sweater is taking up the number one spot in the race of ‘my favorite sweaters of all time’ in my closet. I take this competition very seriously. One must have high rankings in wearability, comfort, style and versatility to win this race and this sweater has them all. This is my version of the Winter Olympics.
This sweater is of course an Amazon find. I get a few comments / DMs asking about the quality of Amazon pieces. The thing is — Amazon marketplace is the basically the Wild West of the internet. So finding a really good piece takes a lot of looking, reading reviews and eventually ordering it to see if you like it yourself. I’ve played this game a lot and many times it does end up as a returned item. I’ve learned to really rely on lengthy reviews — I find the ones that just state ‘great sweater’ or ‘loved it’ seem to be a) not helpful and b) not authentic. When I find a piece with thousands of positive reviews, I usually give it a shot. This sweater had great reviews and I have to say I love it for it’s slouchy look and style. (If you are wearing this on a really cold or windy day, layer a tee underneath for extra comfort. The weave allows for the wind to come through as I learned on this day.)

Beautiful sweater! It looks super cozy and the grey color is stunning. I love it against the black denim as it really stands out. Amazon items are a hit or a miss but you are absolutely right that there are gems to be found such as this beauty.

Can you tell me how it’s holding up to laundering? I just purchased and love it but would not want it to shrink any shorter than it is.
