Just One of Those Tops

Every once in a while you come across a top that you just want to wear all of the time. This is that top. I’ve worn and washed this blouse 4 times since I bought it two weeks ago. Even for me, this is obsessive. Mainly because I don’t even do laundry that often. I was running special loads, just for this shirt. (All exceptions for Gemma’s laundry. Her laundry is so cute it gets done a few times a week. :)) Doing laundry more than you want to? Now that is love. For both Gemma and this shirt, if you were wondering where I was going with that.

I have to really lasso myself in at Anthropologie because if not I’m Alice in Wonderland and I’ve drunk the crazy tea. Before I know it I’ve not only got 20 items in a dressing room but I’ve got multiple hats — HATS — some with feathers and a scarf and well, it’s A LOT. Don’t get me wrong — I love Anthropologie, but a little dab will do ya. This top is my little dab of Anthro this month. Not that I couldn’t have gone overboard, trust me — if you ever wanted to see someone dive head first into a pile of Zoey Deschanel’s leftovers at Anthro, I’m yo girl. But self-control is a new thing I’m working on, so only A top is best. One and done.

These slides have to be one of my favorite purchases I’ve made this spring. And guess what? They are still white! It’s a miracle! These actually don’t get as dirty as I thought they would, so bonus points for them. You can find these slides here!
