We had a cold snap this weekend, as I’m assuming you did, too if you are in the States. I don’t think anyone was spared from the super low temperatures. Here in Dallas we woke up to -4 wind chill. Um, no. That is not how we play, Winter in Texas. You give me a few cold days, maybe a small snowfall for posterity, and then we have mild winter days with full sunshine. You know the deal. None of this negative windchill crap. Needless to say I did not leave the house yesterday because I didn’t want to die. (That happens right? I’m pretty sure it does to Texans.)
So today as we thaw out down south, I thought I’d post fan favorite from instagram! This was one of my most liked outfits this fall on instagram and I have yet to post it here! This vest is available in grey now (which I didn’t even know was an option when I bought the brown! You know I would have gone grey.) Or I’ve found a similar brown BB Dakota vest if you like this shade! Either way, it’s perfect for layering and bundling for when you go outside or for when you just sit inside and wonder how long the world will be frozen.

Well, this was perfect timing… I got this vest (grey) in the mail today and here you go and style it right up for me! ? I’m so glad I got it – I love the fabric and fit.
Unfortunately we had wind chills of -25* this morning, so cute vests like this get a big fat winter coat over them right now (when I actually do venture out – ONLY if I have to! I mean to llike Starbucks…) ?
