Last weekend we woke up to a very cool morning and I’ll be honest — I went for it. I went full sweater weather on that cool morning and I don’t regret it. Sure I was shedding the layer by the afternoon, but the fact that I could even justify this cardiganbrings a tear to my eye. This is my favorite kind of fall outfit — easy, classic fall. Plus word on the street is that cardigan are back big time this year. I am here for it.
Let’s talk about why you’re really here — it’s my shoes isn’t it? Here I am waxing poetically about my oversized cardigan and you love my shoes. I get you because I too love these babies. I’ve been on the look out for the perfect brown bootie for fall and have kind of fallen short until now. I wanted something different from seasons past and this wedge is PERFECT. You know how much I love a wedge and now it’s in bootie form. (Side note — you should know that I always giggle like a teenage boy when I write bootie. Every single time.)
I also love them in black but had to make the choice and went with this nice saddle color, as I find black boots to be easier to find this season. Style truth: when you find a good bootie, you buy it. Take that however you’d like. *giggles to herself quietly*

Or is it just one like it? I love the hat in your photo and I am considering buying it. Yes that is the same one!! The brand is Hat Attack and I bought it from Club Monaco. It’s truly a dusty rose pink, I don’t know why it shows up so grey in that pic. And mine does have a ribbon! I just checked 🙂 It’s just the same color as the hat so it blends in 🙂 Hope this helps!
