These photos were taken before the arctic blast. (Or what some people call winter.) I try to get as many days as I can get out of winter without having to wear tights. This was just last week but I was getting all nostalgic for warmer temps when looking at these photos. Not summer temps, but you know 55. When coats are just an accessory I wear on my shoulders — those are my favorite kind of days. (Or what some people call fall.)
Meet my new purse I got for Christmas. (Her name is Rebecca. She fancies you, too.) I’ve been so drawn to this grey color for purses lately. It’s such a nice neutral for winter; a time when I sometimes tend get a bit too black purse heavy in the colder months. (I also love this one from Gap.) I like having a light option that’s not brown or really any color at all. I’ve found it mixes in really nice with most things I own. Santa knew what was up this year. And by Santa I mean my husband who I might have pointed this purse out to multiple times within a few shorts weeks. Santa needs his elves.
A few other grey purse options:

  3. I am really in love with this color combination. Grey and pink always look great together. I also love the idea of using a grey purse during the winter. I feel like all my black bags are currently on rotation, and I’d love to add some variety to my wardrobe.

  4. Hi Kendi,
That is a beautiful purse! Your hubby did a good job picking up on your (not so) subtle hints 😉 It’s a gorgeous bag that I’m sure you’ll get a lot of use out of since its such a beautiful neutral color!

  5. Love the new purse! I’ve actually been taking note of all the beautiful handbags you’ve been featuring lately. They really add polish and interest. I’m feeling inspired to give my nordstrom tote a rest and try some new things. I think my new style resolution may need to be: purses.

  11. Once again, I love this outfit. But I’ve gotta ask because, well, I gotta know, how do you tuck in your tops and sweaters like this? Whenever I try it just doesn’t look the same and nearly as good. What’s the secret?
