Sometimes when I try out a new outfit I play the “cute or crazy?” game with my husband. This is usually dropped on him like a pop quiz, early in the morning when he is good and fuzzy. This is actually a terrible strategy now that I type this out, I mean we have a steadfast rule of not asking each other important questions in the morning (I’m a morning person so everything is great! He is not a morning person so everything is meh.) Anyways, I played this fun game while getting dressed today. I had about 4 renditions of outfits with this top. I finally settled on mixing it up with this floral skirt. I mean this skirt means business with this print, so I might as well draw attention to the whole outfit right? No need to be subtle when it comes to prints. (For the record, this outfit got the ‘cute’ and not ‘crazy’ approval.)
I got a new phone yesterday. We have always had insurance on my phone (because of things like water, fire and pancake syrup) so I thought I’d run in and make a direct trade. Oh no, that did not happen. Instead I got talked into an upgrade. (Trust me this wasn’t a hard thing to do.) I am now the proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which is basically like a phone + tablet. This means it is kind of humongous and I love it. As I was looking through all of the phone options yesterday I was pulling up Pinterest just to see how it looked on the phone of choice. (Remember, Pinterest relies on my phone so this is important to test.) My husband was talking to the sales person about billing, prices, etc. and looked over at me and called me out. “Are you on Pinterest?!?” However, I’m proud to report that Pinterest on a huge screen is amazing. If you ever can’t reach me by phone, it’s because I’m ignoring your calls and pinning.
