Having a Moment: Oversized Scarves

The bigger the better with scarves this season. Just when I think I’ve got something figured out, the season changes it. This year it’s ‘let’s wrap that blanket scarf real close to your face’ and call it a day kind of a look.  So I say this winter, go big or go home when it comes to scarves.

I agree with others in the thread, (a) love them, but (b) agree they can be too bulky in true winter locations. If I’m already stuffed into a giant heavy winter or puffer-style coat, wrapping this around me just looks silly. The two I own get used most while I’m at home snuggling on the coach, or when it’s getting cooler in the fall and I’m in a lighter weight fall jacket that isn’t bulky. How do you wear one with bulky winter coats? Help, Ellen in Chicago
