Coming back from a holiday makes it impossible to get dressed for about two weeks. Peeling off my pj’s in the morning is actually painful, as all I want to do is wake up to Christmas morning again and again as if it were Groundhog Day. I’m trying to ease into being a real human again, which is why I’ve worn jeans pretty much all holiday break. At least I’ve worn heels, that’s a step up from my newly gifted Hot Socks (thank you, MIL!) I promise one day I will return to dresses and skirts but for this weekend, jeans were it for me.

Also, say hello to my new favorite boots. Well, I’ve only worn them twice so it’s a little presumptuous to say my new favorite but I feel like we are going to get along just famously.

  1. Love the denim on denim look… And those hot socks look amazing!! Totally going to look into getting them myself!

  2. Jeans are one step ahead of sweat pants, so you’re at least doing better than me. I’m still trying to figure out if my work will let me belt a Snuggie and wear it to work. The Pepto-Bismal pink one is almost kind of cute, right?

Also, I keep seeing these denim/light blue tops and I’m afraid to buy them because I don’t know what I’d wear them with other than black pants. But apparently, I can wear them with jeans? If you say so, Kendi!

  3. Your new favorite boots are amazing! And I feel the same way about Christmas morning. Do you think we can somehow petition to make this happen more often? I mean shouldn’t we celebrate Jesus’ birthday more than once a year? He is Jesus after all.

  11. I love this outfit! And the pop of red with the shoes is just wonderful. I am having a hard time getting back into the real world as well.

  12. I love how you matched your lip color with your boots.  It looks so pretty against the denim and brown. This outfit looks very modern yet has that classic all american girl appeal to it.

  14. love this look! So perfect for a nice weekend on the town. I recently just got my first chambray shirt and will definitely be on the look for a polka dot one to add to my closet–too cute!

  15. sigh I know what you mean! Jeans are just so easy these days (although mine have been fitting a little tight haha!). Love those boots! So Kendi 🙂

  16. I’ve been a nanny for over a year, which consists of wearing sweatpants most of the time (not worth getting spit up on my nice clothes) but now that I have an office job again it’s been HEAVEN wearing pretty dresses and outfits!! So, I’m kind of the opposite right now haha. I do love a good jean/tshirt combo though.
