Coming back from a holiday makes it impossible to get dressed for about two weeks. Peeling off my pj's in the morning is actually painful, as all I want to do is wake up to Christmas morning again and again as if it were Groundhog Day. I'm trying to ease into being a real human again, which is why I've worn jeans pretty much all holiday break. At least I've worn heels, that's a step up from my newly gifted Hot Socks (thank you, MIL!) I promise one day I will return to dresses and skirts but for this weekend, jeans were it for me.
Also, say hello to my new favorite boots. Well, I've only worn them twice so it's a little presumptuous to say my new favorite but I feel like we are going to get along just famously.
Jeans are one step ahead of sweat pants, so you're at least doing better than me. I'm still trying to figure out if my work will let me belt a Snuggie and wear it to work. The Pepto-Bismal pink one is almost kind of cute, right?
Also, I keep seeing these denim/light blue tops and I'm afraid to buy them because I don't know what I'd wear them with other than black pants. But apparently, I can wear them with jeans? If you say so, Kendi!
I would not be able to function were it not for jeans. While on break I have pretty much lived in them until today, they have become a sort of uniform. Love it Kendi! www.theadoredlife.com
Your new favorite boots are amazing! And I feel the same way about Christmas morning. Do you think we can somehow petition to make this happen more often? I mean shouldn't we celebrate Jesus' birthday more than once a year? He is Jesus after all.
Adore the outfit and the pop of color with the boots. There is nothing wrong with wearing jeans. They are my staple!!! If you have time please check out my 30 for 30 (inspired by you).
Are Hot Socks the same as Hot Booties because I saw that infomercial this weekend and I might need some! Love the red booties! They too are hot! http://akstylemyway.blogspot.com/
Perfect! I just booked a mini break to Edinburgh and am scouring blogs for inspiration for my 'weekend mini break wardrobe' (yes i am sad and like to plan these things ahead) I think this is good inspiration for it though!
I love this outfit! And the pop of red with the shoes is just wonderful. I am having a hard time getting back into the real world as well. Carlee Almost Endearing
I love how you matched your lip color with your boots. It looks so pretty against the denim and brown. This outfit looks very modern yet has that classic all american girl appeal to it.
love this look! So perfect for a nice weekend on the town. I recently just got my first chambray shirt and will definitely be on the look for a polka dot one to add to my closet--too cute!
I've been a nanny for over a year, which consists of wearing sweatpants most of the time (not worth getting spit up on my nice clothes) but now that I have an office job again it's been HEAVEN wearing pretty dresses and outfits!! So, I'm kind of the opposite right now haha. I do love a good jean/tshirt combo though.
Hello, favorite new boots that I'm going to hunt down until I find a pair for my own feet! So cute! And I've been wearing jeans almost exclusively (save PJs, of course) for the past few weeks, too.
I love the simplicity of the outfit! With the pop of the red shoes. I've got to ask, what camera do you use? Your photos always look amazing! I have a birthday coming up and am thinking about purchasing a camera. I love asking what cameras people love! Thanks! thehartungs.blogspot.ca
