Today was a work day in which I set up camp at a coffee shop and work like a mad women uploading for hours the new collection for Bloom. What I want to wear on these days is pajamas, while being wrapped in a warm blanket. What I should wear is real clothes sans blanket. (You should always wear real clothes, by the way. Always.) I suppose stretchy jeggings and a big, cozy sweater are a close second to pj's. But still -- the blanket was missed.
Today a 14 year old told me she liked my outfit. She's either a very sophisticated teen or I'm dressing like a tween again. You know what? I'm going to go with sophisticated teen. She knows the chicness of exposed striped socks when she sees them.
I love your striped socks with boots. You know how you talked about copying looks in your previous post? Well, I'm stealing this...without guilt. Thank you:)!
So funny Kendi. I never know what to think when my 12 yearl old students say they like my clothes. What's worse, sometimes I like theirs.... Ginny mynewfavoriteoutfit.blogspot.com
I recently discovered the skinny jean-exposed sock-bootie look and I, too, love it! It lets me wear warm socks with my cute booties in this South Dakota winter while still sporting my beloved skinnies. I am so glad this look is "in".
As soon as I saw the sweater (and the title) I said..."she look so comfy!!" The colors compliment your winter skin nicely!! Interesting pairing of polkadot pants!!
This post brought back reminders of why I decided to follow your blog in the first place. 1. Your style is amazing. 2. Lines like: "She knows the chicness of exposed striped socks when she sees them."
Is it funny that I take it as a huge compliment if my 4th graders love my outfit? The other day, one of my fashionable students told me she had the same hot pink skirt from (little a) abercrombie. Although my skirt was not from there, I did feel just a tad bit more stylish.
Love those jeans! I adore the whole dotted denim trend!
A compliment is a compliment!!! By the way your outfit does rock today.I totally know how you feel. I just want to go and change back into my pj's and watch movies in my bed all day, but alas my toddler calls.
So excited to see the new Bloom collection! And I love that you put together such a perfectly cozy outfit that still has so much sartorial interest. I have wedge booties just like these and wear them all the time, aren't they the greatest?! <3 Cambriajupefashion.blogspot.com
Hmmm...let's see. This one is the same shape, but different color: http://www.target.com/p/merona-large-tote-handbag-brown/-/A-14300202#prodSlot=medium_1_1
This one looks nothing like the madewell one, but it's cute: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=34740&vid=1&pid=351405022
