Kendi Everyday contains advertising and affiliate marketing links. This means that I may get commission on sales of the products that I link in my posts. As a dear reader of mine, I want you to know that if you follow a link and make a purchase from an affiliate site, then I will make a commission from that purchase. Sponsors, brand collaborations and affiliates make this blog possible. So if this is okay with you, it's okay with me.
When it's a work day in the store (i.e. re-stocking inventory or putting up the christmas decorations like today which I'm terrible at so if you like festive things please come help me) I know I can't wear a dress or a skirt because it's pointless. By 11 am I'll want to change into jeans and I can't so I'm grumpy for the rest of the day and I fire everyone I see, even the customers. (Yes, the wrong outfit makes me grumpy. You've known me for three years, this should not surprise you.) What I'd like to wear on these days is a tee and jeans, hair in bun, maybe some Uggs (judge it sister -- they are comfortable, ok?). But since I have to look half-way presentable and Uggs don't leave my house, I've decide that colored jeans and a button down are my new casual. Still comfortable, still presentable. It's like the grown up t-shirt and jeans for when you have to work and you don't want to really get dressed but it's the middle of the week you don't have a choice. I have a feeling that tag line is not going to catch on.
