I feel weird blogging on a Friday night. But in all honesty, this is the first Friday night in a very long time that my husband and I have been home with no friends coming into town, no family and absolutely no plans. Oh yes, and no quasi-disease threatening to attack every good part of my body. Needless to say, we are stoked.

So what do we have planned this evening you ask? Well we started with pizza and wings (which I accidentally just typed "wigs" instead of "wings". Pizza and wigs was last night. On Thursday nights, we can get crazzzzy.) And now we have moved on to catching up on 30 Rock, Community and The Office. I might even see if the husband will spring for a Project Runway. Tim Gunn -- it's been too long.

At my office, pretty much every day can be casual Friday, if you'd like. There is literally no known dress code. Don't get me wrong if I showed up in a snuggie and some sweat pants day after day, someone would call HR on me. (Rightfully so. Snuggie me once, shame on you. Snuggie me twice, shame on me.) But I could probably wear a halloween costume and as long as it hit around my knees, no one would complain. However, with the lax rules and atmosphere I try to keep my jean wearing to a minimum, just so that I don't abuse the freedom. Plus, it feels good after a week of skirts to finally put on some jeans. One day I think that I'm going to walk in and my co-workers will applaud me for having covered legs. Till then though, 4 days for skirts and dresses and 1 day for jeans.

Okay, TV break is over. Sad when you take a break from television to blog. Sad or an extremely good Friday night?

I heart this outfit, especially the top!! I saw it at F21 but felt too overwhelmed by the store to even try it on. I feel that way often when I step foot in there...
btw, sounds like great Friday night plans to me!

i wish every day was casual friday at my job... sometimes (when i say sometimes i mean mondays) it would be nice to wear jeans. even just some nice trouser-jeans-that-don't-even-look-like-jeans. but other times (like wednesdays) nothing is a pick me up like a good swingy skirt.

navy/tan is a good combo on you!

I vote extremely good Friday night. I'm blogging and tv watching too. My boyfriend is out of town, and I've been running around like crazy all week, so I just need some time to chill with The L Word (I'm on season 2 in Netflix), a glass of wine, a couple cuddly cats, and some blogging breaks.

I love the heart print on your top! So sweet and so pretty.

I saw fabulous friday night!

My work environment is like that too. I work in one of my company's regional offices and so we really do whatever we want and I'm usually the most uncausal of everyone there, but the same sorta stuff people do in my office would NOT fly in the main castle... i mean office in Chattanooga.

You know, if you feel so inclines to wear Snuggies whenever it's not appropriate, they do Snuggie bar crawls:) I haven't done one yet, but since I live near bar central they are usually orchestrating one every once in while and I've been tempted. I guess it will be too warm though:(

Wow. You look really great in those jeans. I think I've tried the dark Gap skinnies on before and felt they didn't look that great, so maybe you've just got the legs.

those gap jeans fit so nice! and i like the printed tank, too!

once i had to answer the most inappropriate place to wear a snuggie .. i said the beach! or jury duty! lol

That is definitely the best casual Friday outfit I've seen in awhile!!

I actually got my boyfriend to watch Project Runway the other day (usually he'll run for cover after The Office is over because he knows it's coming). He only watched it though because he thought Anthony was the most hilarious thing in the world.

that top is adorable.
and just so you know, i plan to make snuggies my wardrobe staple of the spring. seriously. with the right boots and accessories, there's nothing chicer than a shapeless blanket with arms.

I vote "extremely good Friday night"

I used to be the girl who wore jeans daily, now it's rarely and I like it better that way.
