It’s been on and off rainy here the past few weeks, so I needed to do a little bit of dopamine dressing. I am a sunflower and my mood is directly tied to the amount of sunshine we get in a 24-hour period. Lately the sun has only come out for just a few hours a day, so a bright outfit was needed. And I had just the dress to do the trick

Enter the Madewell Linen Dress in poppy red. An instant mood lifter, if I do say so myself. I love the fit on this dress, it’s not too too fitted, even if it’s a shift dress and the length is perfect. I went with a size large and glad I did, there is wiggle room and leg room to spare. The only downside to this gorgeous number? The wrinkles. I was so careful with this dress, steamed it out perfectly but once you sit, it’s gonna wrinkle. It is my only complaint about linen. But honestly, if we hadn’t taken photos I truly would have never thought about the wrinkles. What about you? Do you find yourself worrying about wrinkles throughout the day? I just don’t think I do.

I love these woven flats! Very comfortable and easy to wear. I’m loving this dark brown as well, it feels very updated, very chic. I’ll be carrying it into summer too. Between this bag and these shoes, I’m set.
